Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping)


Pain can be a complex and personal experience for many and therefore it can often be difficult to come up with a concrete solution or diagnosis.

Acute pain sends signals to the body that it has been hurt, like breaking a bone or burning your hand on the stove. The pain is sudden, the duration doesn’t last long and when it has healed the pain goes away and you can carry on pain free.

Chronic pain behaves differently and can cause persistent pain even after the healing has happened. There are various symptoms of chronic pain, and may include mild to severe sensations and pain, stiffness, soreness, tightness or just general continued discomfort. Other accompanying symptoms of chronic pain include fatigue, anxiety, sleeplessness and stress.

EFT uses a tapping technique on a series of acupressure points.
